The Fenech Brothers moved to the United States as children in 1979, and to New York as adults in 1993. Giovanni Garcia-Fenech is a New York-based painter whose work has been exhibited at New York galleries like Postmasters, The Hole, and CHART, as well as institutions like White Columns and PS1 Contemporary Arts Center. His work has also appeared at international venues like Embajada gallery in Puerto Rico and the Living Art Museumin Reykjavik. Critics such as Jerry Saltz have taken note of his work in publications like New York Magazine, Artforum, T Magazine, and Corriere della Sera. Octavio Fenech is a New York-based artist who got his start as a director of photography for independent movies in the rough-and-tumble 1990s. As an animator he has made more than a thousand short animations promoting everything from Coca Cola to Chase Bank, as well as numerous Broadway productions
