New York-based artist José Carlos Casado has been creating digital and traditional art since the early 1990s. He makes paintings, sculptures, 3D animations, videos, photography, and installations. Casado’s early digital work “bin10sex” was at the first Sundance Online Film Festival in 2001. His interactive video installation “Pandora’s Box [revisited]”, 2001, combining 3D and video was part of his solo shows at the Picasso Foundation in Spain and Postmasters Gallery in New York —and more than 20 international New Media Festivals. Recent work includes public art installations with augmented reality for NYC parks.
