UBERMORGEN (est. 1995) is an Artist Duo specialized in Digital Haute Couture and Media Hacking. Autistic actionist lizvlx and pragmatic visionary Hans Bernhard are specialized on high-risk conceptual art, and polarising social experiments. UBERMORGEN’s research-based practice is mainly driven by a desire to satisfy their own curiosity. CNN called them ‘Maverick Austrian Business People’ while reaching a global audience of 500 million and challenging the FBI, CIA, and NSA during the US presidential election with their project ‘Vote-Auction’. In 2005, they launched their acclaimed EKMRZ Trilogy, a series of conceptual hacks – ‘Google Will Eat Itself’, ‘Amazon Noir’, and ‘The Sound of eBay’. In 2021 AI algos meet TikTok pop/sound in their project ‘The Next Biennial Should be Curated by a Machine’.
