If a simulated reality is indistinguishable from “true” reality, which reality is “real”? My third self-portrait in 3D…or a simulated me which is indistinguishable from “true” me… This piece is about finding oneself and creating one’s own reality.

Created by an artist looking back at her work. The first version of Life in a Simulation was created in November 2020. Even tho it’s merely the end of June 2021, it seems as the lifetime has passed. Like with any technology, sometimes NFT artworks need an upgraded version… Which is not meant to undermine the previous one — it will forever remain the first, the genesis piece.

This second version symbolizes growth and crossing over to a new world (simulation). Life in a Simulation. Upgraded Self was meant to be.
